For those who want to share - thought we could put them all in the same place so folks can see them
. I also love knowing why people picked the name they picked.
We chose Colin Alfred. We wanted something with Celtic background, and Colin means "victory" so we thought that was ideal. Its also the Celtic derivative of DH's favorite name (Nicholas). Alfred is the name of my late FIL.

I am jealous you guys have DH's that will agree on names! We had boys names set, but girls are a whole different story (of course now we need 2!!).
The only name he thinks he likes, he's only about 65% sold on this. Yes, I asked him to give me a percentage.
So far we've got 3 names picked, two boy and one girl...
Girl: Lily Louise (Lilies are my favorite flower and Louise was my great-grandma and my hubby's grandmas name)
Boy: Quinn Alexander (Quinn just because we like it and Alexander was my great-grandma's maiden name)
~or~
Jack Oliver (Jack was my hubby's grandpa's name and Oliver was his other grandpa's middle name)
We have had names picked out for a while!
For a girl it's Ruby Jean. She would be named after my grandma whose name was Jean Rubin (Rubin also being my maiden name).
For a boy it's Johnny Charles. My DH always wanted to name his son Johnny and Charles is a family name. I mean, all Johnny's are cool. Johnny Depp, Johnny Cash, Johnny Carson
Both sound great with our last name which is uncommon.

*PAIF/SAIF always welcome*
This was totally our boy name forever, Jack after my grandpa and Oliver after DH's grandpa. After saying it aloud fast too many times, it didn't sound right because sometimes Oliver sounds like all over
I was torn between not caring and not wanting to use it but DH is totally against it now. So we are splitting them up and using Oliver in some way if we have another boy. We're still looking for a new MN.
I'm late to the convo, but we are having a little girl and are going to name her Eleanor Grace. Eleanor was DH's great-aunt's name, and he was close to her as a child and wanted to use her name. Grace just seemed to flow nicely with it. We will probably call her Ellie as a child, but thought Eleanor worked nicely for a more professional name as an adult!
If we ever have a boy, we will probably use the name Daniel John. John was my dad's name, and I wanted to use it as a middle name if I have a son at some point. It took a while, but we finally decided that Daniel went nicely with it for a first name - and was something we could both agree on!
