I've mentioned before that I was furloughed for the upcoming school year due to budget cuts- well, that and the ridiculous amount of our budget the local charter schools get, but whatever. Anyway, we're still under my insurance until August 31st and then we have to switch over to DH's. He actually has decent insurance, but I'm afraid of how much of a headache it would be to switch over right before delivery- or even worse, if I go into the hospital under my insurance only to have it switch over half way through!
I'm due August 29th so I really really can't afford to go late... I'm planning on trying all the OWTs and sex and all that after I talk to my doctor at Monday's appointment. I'm pretty sure my doctor would induce me close to my due date to save everyone from the insurance headache, but I really don't want to be induced! It makes me nervous.... gah.
I don't know what I'm looking for here, I guess I just needed to vent. Maybe if anyone has a positive induction story they'd like to share?
Re: Insurance woes and induction...
I am on Medicaid currently and that will end when my hospital stay does, so we are set up to switch over to DH's insurance as soon as our LO is born (seriously, w JUST got our pediatrician today. Talk about cutting it close!)
I sympathize with the headache of insurance......
