I have been waiting for 3 weeks to miscarry and still haven't. There was no heartbeat and no blood flow so I know there is no chance. I just keep calling in twice a week and reporting nothing happening to the DRs office. Anyone else have to wait this long? Its getting a little emotionally draining to be waiting. I kind of just want it overwith. My other loss was at 33 weeks and I delivered him with the surviving twin so this early loss is new to me and I dont know how things go. I hate being on the edge of my seat constantly.

I am so sorry you are going through this. My baby stopped growing about 3 weeks and a couple of days before I had any spotting or anything. Even when i did have signs of a m/c, they did not progress over night like my midwife said. You may want to consider asking your Dr. whether a D&C might be something to consider. GL, that is a tough situation to be in.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had a missed miscarriage. My baby died at 9 weeks and at 11 weeks my body was showing no signs of miscarrying on its own. I couldn't stand the anticipation and I wanted to be able move forward and start healing emotionally and physically, so I opted for a D&C.

I am so sorry you are going through this. The waiting game really sucks.

I discovered at my 10 week ultrasound that our baby was only measuring 6 weeks. I miscarried exactly 1 week later. So, i guess that means that i walked around for 5 weeks before actually miscarrying. I knew it was approaching because the week before "everything passed" i had been spotting bright red. Are you spotting at all?

I am so sorry for your loss. I don't have any experience with a natural MC, but waiting 3 weeks seems kind of long. There are pills that can help along a MC and there is always the option of a D&C. I would definitely call your doctor and ask about these options.

I had a missed miscarriage at 6w5d and when I went for my first ultrasound at 12 weeks I still had no symptoms. I waited a bit more than one more week before opting to take misoprostol to induce it. I had no spotting or anything (no signs of infection either).

If you do opt for a medically induced m/c make sure to ask for pain medication and anti-nausea medication to make things as easy as possible. I am normally a fan of the natural route, but I figure it was more natural than a D&C and my body really was holding on.

Nothing at all. I am measuring 5 weeks and I should have been 9 weeks. We thought maybe my due date was off so I went back again a week later and still was just 5 weeks. Now its been another 4 weeks and nothing has happened. I called yesterday and the earliest I could get scheduled for a D&C was next Tuesday so I took the appointment. I have had a headache for the last 2 days so I am hoping that means something might be starting. If not atleast I know I will be in on Tuesday and soon this will be over.
