  Yep! DS gave himself a great big hickey on his wrist from all of the sucking!!!

  Yeah, DD looooves to suck her fist, fingers, thumb...whatever she can jam in her mouth. Her new trick is to try and suck her thumb while drinking from the bottle.

  My LO loves her hand!  not thumb but her entire hand!!  The amount of drool is insane.  I have to pull her hand out ofher mouth when I go and nurse.

  She constantly has her hands in her mouth. She drools so much that we started calling her "drooly Julie".

  My DD can't stop with the hands in the mouth stuff! She also gags herself, which is fun after a feeding!

  I think at a certain age just everything goes in a LO's mouth and it's hard to pry it away.  I've found that her hand/thumb sucking at least helps my LO get back to sleep at night when she wakes up in the middle of the night instead of needing a bottle or mommy.

   It's an age thing.  Doesn't necessarily mean teething.  DD did the hand sucking  BIG TIME around 3 months - 4 1/2 months but has been slowing down a bit now.  Now she has found that EVERYTHING can go into her mouth- hands, fingers, feet, mom's hands, toys, books, the dog's fur, the carpet....etc etc
