Buying shoes again..Poll

My boys are 16 months old - and their summer sandals appear to be too small now. I went and bought them new sneakers and open toe sandals for home but I am wondering if I should also buy a new pair of closed toe sandals for daycare? Or should I have them wear their new sneakers to daycare?

I hate to spend another $20-40 each on new sandals for them to wear them for 1 month!!! What would you do?

I am also having a hard time finding closed toe sandals.

    None of the above.  Buy some used ones at a consignment store or thrift store.
