    One of my favorite posts, I think on this board, was a call out to other FTMs about their thoughts on subsequent children. (ie, now that you're in the third trimester do you think you'll ever want to do this again?) Someone answered that she was a FTM and already had given birth to 3 other children so she definitely wanted this to be get last pregnancy. I read that 3 or 4 times trying to figure out what she thought FTM stood for, especially since the other posters were commenting about all their experiences with their first pregnancies.

    When people use FTM and clearly aren't using it to mean First Time Mom, I assume they are thinking it could mean Full Time Mom.

    I was confused at first by people saying things like they are a FTM w/ 2 other kids?!?

    I use the translation that makes the most sense according to the context of the post.
