Good a/s today!

I had posted yesterday about how I get so nervous before u/s appts. The anxiety this morning was terrible but instantly went away when we saw little wiggle man on the screen!

He looked great! HB was strong and he's actually measuring 2 days ahead at 18w1d. DH was freaked out with everything they could see on the scan - it was funny.

I also found out that my placenta is on the left side which makes sense since I always feel him on my right - it was a nice reassurance that I really am feeling him and not just making it up in my head (which was a real fear Embarrassed).

When I saw the Dr I found that I have gained 10lbs since the beginning of the pg - not bad, I was expecting much worse. Now my uterus was measuring at 22 weeks... ummm, huh? She said it's not big deal since I have been pg once before - I'm still scratching my head on that one. Anyone had an experience like this?

    Adorable! Congratulations on a good appointment. 

    My uterus has consistently been measuring about 3-4 weeks ahead since 16 weeks. My dr. told me I just had a large uterus lol.

    BFP #4 2/18/14.  EDD 10/30/14... Ruptured ectopic with L tube removed & D&C 3/7/14.

    IVF #1    Oct 2014 - antagonist protocol: 9R, 7M, 5F. 3dt of 3 Grade 2 embies. BFN. 
    IVF #2    Jan 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.  Converted to IUI #1. BFFN
    IVF #2.1 March 2015 cancelled due to dominant follicle.

    BFP #6  (SUPRISE!) 3/19/15.  EDD 11/30/15...  CP at 4w2d.
    IUI #2:    Clomid + Follistim = 3 follies. BFN.
    IVF #2.2 May 2015 - horrible response to micro lupron flare protocol: 3R, 3M, 3F. 3dt of 2 Grade 3 embies. BFFN. 

    BFP #7 (beyond surprised again!) 4/26/16. EDD 1/5/17. beautiful betas!!!! and then near-fatal hemorrhagic corpus luteum. turns out baby was ectopic after all; another lap 5/6 (@24dpo).

    Congrats on a great appointment and a little cutie!  Fundal height is not overly accurate and can depend on baby position, so maybe that's why you're measuring bigger.

    Congrats on the good appointment! If you've only gained 10lbs I wouldn't worry too much about measuring big. I think those can be way off.

    Congrats on the awesome news! At 20 weeks I was measuring 23 weeks, but my MW didn't seem to be worried because she said it's fairly variable. We'll see where it is at 25 weeks!

    beautiful picture!!! you could poss have excess amnio fluid which would make your ute measure bigger if just going my external measurements
