Posting about Zulily (and other sites) sales on the bump...

I feel like every day on the bump someone is touting Zulily (or other similar sites) and posting a link so that they get credit/money for bringing in new people.

It's beginning to look like advertising, as it is happening almost every day now. 

Anyone else with me on this? I don't want to start randomly reporting people, but I feel like posters are not being upfront about the benefit they receive when you click on their links.

    I tend to agree. It was kind of the same with diapers.com when we were all on the tri boards too. I love both sites but if you're going to post a link, at least be upfront about what you'll get in return.

    I never thought about that! I forgot that you get % off for recommending someone on Z. I have never done it myself but have seen them. I never click on links through here though. If someone says, "PSA: Melissa and Doug on Z today!" I always just open a separate tab and find it through my own account only because I'm weary of clicking links from unknown people. I am grateful for them though because sometimes I wouldn't have checked out something if it were not for someone on here pointing it out.

     

    My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013! image

    Ditto this. I don't mind people pointing out deals. If they want to include their own link, great, but I don't usually click on it.

    Personally, I like getting heads-ups about deals so I really don't mind.
