Need tips on Cosleeping Toddler and New Baby

DD sleeps in her crib pulled up to our bed, for most of the night anyway.  Some nights she spends all night there, others, she climbs over next to me.  I thought we would be able to push the crib back and put the rail on so that she gets used to sleeping in there by herself, but I'm not sure that will work just yet.  I'm trying to figure out exactly what we are going to do once the new baby arrives.  I'm thinking of getting one of those Snuggle Nests so that I have a little more peace of mind this time, but I know that the baby would still have to come out of there for nursing since the sides are hard.  What has been others experiences?  Any suggestions?
