Carrier rec for traveling with a 3 week old...

I am looking for a carrier that would be great for frequent wearing during air/hotel travel with a 3 week old.  I have a Moby, Bjorn and Hotsling and am not a huge fan of any of them.  I was considering purchasing another carrier for our travel next week.  Any recs?  What do you think of the Beco Gemini?

  • My first suggestion would be a Moby, but you don't like it, and it's really soooo hot in the summer.  Have you tried a Mei Tai?  Like a Babyhawk or similar?  They are newborn friendly, and would work into toddlerhood.  They are also safe for backcarries, if you are so inclined.  Ringslings are also great, and with such a tiny squishie, shouldn't be uncomfortable, even wearing for extended periods.  I think a linen fabric would be best for the weather.

  • i started using my Beco butterfly 2 when DD was super tiny (with the infant insert).  It gets a little warm, but i just try to wear a  really light weight shirt if i know i'm going to be wearing her outside.
