OB/GYN Appt. Today

I went to my OB/GYN today for my annual check-up and to discuss DH and I's plans to TTC. 

I came off BCP in June 2011 and we have been trying to conceive during the cycle since.

I made sure to make the appt with the Dr. this morning because, when I am not on BCP, my period is crazy irregular. We're talking anywhere from 21-94 days long. We discussed family history, diet, etc., and made sure to go through the slew of reproductive issues my mother's side has.

During my exam, she told me she saw something "strange" going on with my cervix ( I was too freaked out to ask exactly what). I also had a lot of pain while she was pushing around.

She ordered an ultrasound, and it's scheduled for Monday. I'm just freaking out a little bit at the unknown, and not knowing how this can or will affect our ability to conceive.

Sorry for the long, pointless rant, I guess I just needed to get it all out. I'm putting the cart before the horse as far as being so worried, but that's why they call me:

TTC since June 2010.
DX hypothyroidism, pituitary hyperfunction, and PCOS.
On med/treatment break indefinitely. Not currently trying.

    Sorry your appointment didn't go as smoothly as planned. I hope that Monday brings you better news. Until then try (and I know it's hard) to just not worry about it too much. Even "if" there is something....doctors these days are amazing and can help find a resolution. T&Ps to you and GL!!! Keep us posted!

    I had to LOL at your picture. I'm sorry your appointment caused you anxiety. I know quite a few people with irregular cervix position and they have been able to conceive, it just caused issues with showing, finding heartbeat, and the baby's positioning, However, I'm also a worrier so I know where you're coming from. Good luck and keep us posted, ((hugs))

    Thanks for the support, ladies. I truly appreciate it. The Bump is such an invaluable resource for pointless rants. Especially the things that sound crazy in real life. You guys rock!
