We got 2 non stick skillets (Emeril Lagasse brand) for our wedding (4 years ago) and they are AWESOME. Pots, on the other hand, we have cheap Faberware ones, and they're fine.
If you're in the market for new pots/pans, I'd suggest maybe trying one or two pieces from a brand before you shell out major $$.

We have the Calphalon non-stick anodized cookware. They are awesome! But ridiculously expensive. If I had to buy them all myself, I probably wouldn't have! LOL! But seriously, they're 5 years old and look brand new. My parents have the same ones and theirs look great too!
ETA: I think they have a lifetime warranty... can't beat that!
We got some Calphalon non stick pans for our wedding 2 years ago and really like them. They're still pretty new, so I can't speak for longevity. Like PP, I also probably wouldn't have paid for them myself. Luckily they were gifts.
Re: NBR pots and pans
I got a big set of calphalon non-stick for my wedding.
They're still in awesome shape after 5.5 years of using them constantly.
However, Ikea has nice non-stick (nice and heavy!) for WAY cheaper that seem just as nice to me!
