For those who know the gender?

For those of you who know the gender, when were you able to find out. I hear some lucky ladies here it at the NT Scan, and others not until the normal 18-20(?) weeks ... How many weeks were you?

We had a CVS done so found out the gender at about 13 weeks. If we hadn't done the test it wouldn't have been until the 20 week ultrasound.

I think it is very, very rare to find out at the NT scan. My Dr. wouldn't even attempt to look at such an early stage. I won't be finding out until 20 weeks. I've known people who found out as early as 15 weeks via ultrasound.

I had an u/s at 14 weeks. I honestly saw the little cashew dangling then.....it was like he knew that it is in the Dominican tradition to proudly show off the goods. But then 2 weeks later we went for real to the lab for another u/s and blood draw and WOW he was very bold - legs cracked and showing it all.

Honestly it will depend more on the baby and the u/s - not only timing of the u/s. But you are better off waiting till the 20 week so that you and the tech are positive of what you are having.

We couldn't tell anything at our NT scan. It was very clear when we had the anatomy scan at 20 weeks though.

At my NT scan, the tech ventured an 80% guess of girl, and this was confirmed at our anatomy scan.

It depends on the tech. At my NT scan the tech told me that he was 75% sure it was a boy. At 20 weeks it was confirmed to be a boy.

At the NT Scan the Dr. wouldn't even make a guess - he said they don't do that as a policy at their office b/c it is so often wrong. We'll find out next week (w18) at the Anatomy Scan.

CVS here as well, so 11 weeks. I did just have a follow up u/s at 15 weeks though and the tech could clearly tell it was a boy. I have the money shot as proof, which DH loved.

my friend who is an OB says that she can tell with greater than 90% certainty at 12 weeks. but, she isn't 100%, so she doesn't say anything.

I found out at 13 weeks at the NT scan and had it confirmed with a 16 week scan (Boy, obviously). I went this week and everything is still there and attached

We also caught him sucking his thumb. I melted just a little.
