Our ped recommended that we give LO vitamin D drops to help her absorb the calcium from my breast milk. LO hates it though. She always spits is out. Anyone have any pointers?

DS loves them (We use the Enfamil D Vi Sol drops) but I've heard the 'Carlson" ones are easier if they hate them because its only 1 or 2 drops that you can just apply to your breast before you nurse instead of a whole dropper full.
We used to use the Enfamil kind and dd hated them as well. We switched to the Carlson kind and absolutely love them. You just put one drop on your nipple (or a paci or bottle nipple) before a feeding. They are tasteless, odorless, preservative-free, and don't stain! I got them from amazon. They're kinda pricey but one bottle has 365 doses.

Yep we use the Carlson ones and DD doesn't even notice.
I am an EP and DS loves his daily vitamin bottle. It's his favorite? Could you give him his vitamins in a bottle? That way they are diluted and a lot less noticeable.
What PP said, I include it in a bottle of expressed BM and give it to my daughter that way. I've heard there are is a Vitamin D ointment you can rub on your nipples to give to your LO that way, but have never tried it.

She doesn't like that either.

Ditto the Carlson drops, we put it on the bottle nipple before we feed her and she doesn't even notice. Only one drop per day is needed!
