Has anybody found any relief? If I can do anything to make them less visible, I'd like to know what it is lol. They're killing me! I used to be pretty skinny, now I'm stuck with 25 lbs of "baby weight" that I can't seem to lose, saggy skin from the other 25 lbs, and stretch marks...

Re: S/O stretch marks...
You suck! Lol. Lucky you! I used to think, when reading on here and other places that stretch marks were largely hereditary, that it was a load of crap... nope, very true, at least in my case. All of the women in my family have crucial stretch marks. Here I am, thinking, "Oh, I have supple, stretchy skin, I'll be fine." Not. So wrong, I was...
My stretch marks were horrible!!!! No joke. All over my tummy and hips and I didnt even gain that much weight! I was against tanning until someone recommended it for stretch marks. It has def helped! Of course, mine are never going to disappear completely, but tanning did reduce the visibility of them.
Okay, I had to laugh, but this IS true. Stress can definitely sabotage weight loss!
Wow Kdoge! While I usually agree with your very strong opinions on things this was a little uncalled for. While you are right that stress can hinder weight loss shoving her problems in her face wont help her not be stressed.
OP- I lived with my in-laws for a while when we relocated and were looking for a house. It can be very stressful. If you need to vent without criticism feel free to PM me.
I agree that stress can hinder weight loss, and yes I do have a lot of stress. But, Kdodge, it's not all because my fiance's mom put my kid in some water. It's so much more than that, with a lot of backstory that you do not know, nor do I have the time or reason to type. So, since I wasn't really asking about how to lose weight, thanks anyway.
Sharon, thank you for your support
I've heard of this, but where do you get it?
My mom doesn't have a single stretch mark on her tummy after delivering 7 kids, but my sister got quite a few after she had her son in March...
I was kind of relieved to know they were hereditary.
