It was down to 14, so I guess I won't be going anywhere. I knew it was coming, my HPT's were getting lighter, not darker. I don't know what to think anymore.
The lovenox didn't do sh!t for me. I called my hemotologist today after I got the call. I asked if there was any further testing she could do that could account for the continuous c/p's and she said no. I was tested for everything under the sun before. So I am to discontinue the lovenox and only go on it again if I do a medicated cycle or get pregnant.
I have to go back in for a repeat beta next Monday. I really wanted my WTF appt to be next week, but my RE is going to be on vacation. My coordinator was able to give me a new patient time slot though, so it will be this Thursday morning.
I really don't know where will we will from here. I feel like I didn't have any more success with IVF than I did with my unmedicated IUI's. I did two of each - both had one that didn't work and one that did, but ended in a c/p. I just don't know what to do. It doesn't seem to make sense to do another IVF, we would be OOP this time and we don't have the money either.
We are taking a break for a few months though. We are going to Italy in the spring and I am not willing to give that trip up. We have been TTC for a year, with the RE for a year and half. This is my 4th loss now. I just don't know how much more I can take. I just need a break, although I am not even sure I know how to do that.
Thanks for all your caring and support. I really appreciate it.

I am so, so sorry. Lovenox is a dirty wh0re. It should have worked. It didn't work for me the last IVF either. I know how hard it is to spend all this time, money and effort and have loss after loss after loss. My heart goes out to you! It doesn't matter that you can get pregnant if you can't stay pregnant. Sometimes people don't realize that.
On a lighter note, I am jealous you are going to Italy! I hope that you are able to let go of TTC for awhile and regroup after Italy. Enjoy yourself - you deserve it!
The hemotolgist seems to think that the lovenox doesn't have anything to do with implanting or not. I really thought it did and now I'm obviously very unsure. I just don't know what to think.
And are my eyes deceiving me or is that a BFP in your siggy?! That is great Kellin!!! I am so very happy for you!!!

From what I know your hematologist is right. My RE and OB both told me not to start Lovenox until I have a + beta that doubles. Apparently it doesn't matter if you start it right after transfer because your blood isn't linked up with the embryo until like... week 6 or 7 (I forget). Anyway, with all this blood stuff its so tricky. I am really sorry and I hope that they are able to find out what is causing your m/c's. (((HUGS)))

First I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, having had 4 myself I feel much the same way, as far as not knowing if IVF is any more worth it in terms of potential success vs. any other method since I seem to be able to get pregnant, (not as frequently as is normal for most folks), but not stay pregnant. I have been slow to engage with a fertility clinic, but that is where we are now. Did you have Karyotyping done on you and your husband? I ask this because it seems very inconsistent as to when this test is ordered, (for many it seems it is only ordered AFTER a failed IVF). We are doing this first because of my losses to see if we have a translocation of any chromosomes that could make a certain percentage of our embryos incompatable with life no matter what we do. If that is the case then our Dr. suggests that IVF with PGD would be what we would need to do so that they are only putting back embryos that are normal.
I am truly sorry and I hope that my post doesn't seem insensitive in any way. I'm only hoping to offer an option you could ask about. Please totally disreagard most of my post if you did do this already. Have so much fun on your break. I took a bump break and TTC break after my last MC and it did wonders, (I think I remember you from one of the IF boards).
Good Luck to you Ciao Bella!
I am not offended by your post at all - no worries. We did each have genetic testing done after my 3rd loss, it was part of the RPL panel. Neither DH, nor I came back as having any issues in that regard. But, when I go to my appt. I will double check to see if there is anything else we can be tested for.
I guess that is what is so frustrating. Last I knew my FSH was around 9, higher, but not over the top high and I have known many people to have successful pregnancies with levels much higher. I stimmed pretty well and had good eggs and a good fert report (for being 38) this time. I just don't get this at all. Why can't I stay pregnant? Hopefully, the RE will have some suggestions.
