Hey Moms just wanted to see if any of you can help me. My baby's first birthday is around the corner he was born on 10/10/10 what a lucky day and I'm super excited on planning his party maybe you can give some ideas on what you've done for your little ones or what you will be doing. October's weathe is undecisive here in houston so i wanted to do like a circus theme birthday with some animals and clowns.

 OH! can someone please teach me how to put a picture of my lttle one on this thing. I've been since  09 and still havent learned. :)

    I won't be much help but I will share what we're doing.  We are keeping the party very small and low key - probably family only.  The theme (for a girl) will be giraffes and I'll incorporate pink accents. 

    I'm having a banner made, which I'll get the digital file for and will print & assemble myself.  I'll have matching invitations made and maybe a small banner for the front of her high chair.

    We'll have cake, of course, and depending on what time of day we decide we will either do appetizers or we'll grill some burgers or something.

    I've taken monthly pictures each month so I will frame our favorite from each month and will place the frames in order by month along our bar.

    Simple simple...

    I did a monkey theme for DS's 1st birthday, I used the mod monkey off the party supplies, but I just had him on the cake and used plain plates. He's an october boy too so we just had the party at home.

    DD's 1st I just found invites I liked and used the picture on it as the theme, made the cake in the same colors, etc.

    DD's 2nd was zoo animals, with giraffe cake, and elephant, monkey and lion cupcakes. Right now I'm thinking DS's 2nd will be an Elmo theme since he's in love with the annoying red guy.

    I didn't have a theme for DD's 1st birthday but I had a color scheme.  Do a google search for 'kids birthday circus theme' and I'm sure you will get tons of ideas.  Also, search Etsy for the same think and you will find birthday paper packages.  I'm pretty sure I saw circus stuff last year.

    I also, only had family and close friends over to the house for the party (indoors).
