Yay for TV raising awareness

So I'm watching a Spanish TV talk show (well its on as background noise= I actually don't like talk shows) and it's about a dad who is obsessed with taking long long trips (like 1 year etc) on his motorcycle and neglecting his wife and kids.  The talk show host told him that he doesn't deserve to have kids. That there are so many people paying for treatments to ovulate, have IVF, etc just for the opportunity to have a child, watch a child take his/her first steps, and he doesn't care.  It was so nice to hear someone say this on TV!

    I agree, its amazing how many people dont realize how blessed they are to have children.  And its nice that TV puts it out there every once in a while.  Did you guys by chance see the segment on The Today Show this morning?  It was a segment on being "to thin" or worrying about your appearance while pregnant.  Dr Nancy Sneider was on (Im obssessed with The Today Show :-))  and she went on about how you need to enjoy pregnancy and worry about losing the weight afterwards.  She got pretty fired up and right at the end of the segment she says real snippety..."people that cant get pregnant are not liking this at all, come on people get a clue"   I thought that was pretty awesome!
