OMG I think we found the secret to scream-free car rides!

Windows down! DD has never liked the car and usually starts screaming after about 15 minutes. The other day we randomly rolled the back windows down about 1/3 of the way (with the AC blasting -- it's hot out) and she stopped crying and went to sleep! Today we tried it again and it worked! I hope it continues to work, we seriously have been unable to take her anywhere remotely far away!

Ooooooo I never thought of that!! I'm going to have to try it. Ethan hates car rides too, I'm willing to try anything at this point. I get so anxious in the car with him because he fusses the whole time.

We've done it too. I think it's a white noise thing and a wind distraction. Radio on static sometimes too. But the best distraction seems to be one of us, when possible, in the back seat with her. It seems as though we'll never both sit up front again Stick out tongue
