I have my glucose test at 8:15 in the morning, and all I remember my dr. saying is that I shouldn't have any carbs after midnight the night before the test. I'm just wondering what effect it would have on the test if I ate an egg in the morning (or something else that didn't have carbs). Does anyone who has already taken the test have any advice?

I ate normal before my test (both this pregnancy and last). Dr told me to eat normal.
My test was last Friday, in the afternoon, and they said eat lunch like usual and if I normally have a snack before the time of my test, to go ahead and take that too. I still passed my test.
almost exactly this.
My test was in the afternoon, and I ate lunch like I normally would. I had a sub and chips and I still passed.

I was told not to eat an hour before and only drink water until I go in for my test
I was told to eat normally... Once I down the drink though, no water, can't even brush your teeth.
The first two times I took it I was told to fast. (at 12 weeks and then again at 16 weeks).
I ate my normal breakfast this morning...
I was told to fast after midnight with DD. I would think an egg would be fine though.
It's strange that everyone was told something different.
My appt is at 9am and I was told to eat a light breakfast, then nothing after the drink.
I did the 1 hour test at 20 weeks and was told no sugar but to eat a light protein lunch beforehand. I am repeating the test at 28 weeks and was told the same.
My midwives said to eat and drink normally before the test, but once I drink the juice (they do white grape juice instead of the glucose drink) no more eating and only water to drink.
I think an egg would be fine.
My test will be at 9am....I plan on eating something light as well...my problem is going to be the 2am hunger pangs. The past three nights Ive gotten up and eaten some fresh fruit...strawberries, a bannana, etc.
