Re: Bassinets vs Moses Baskets vs Cribs etc

We lived in a high rise condo when our boys were born, so space was tight. Though they weren't in our room, they did sleep in their cribs from the first day they came home. We didn't have a lot of extra stuff. This baby will be in her crib from the beginning too.
I have the Bugaboo Cameleon and suspect that the baby will take lots of naps in the bassinet when we're out and about. Hadn't thought about her sleeping there all night though. I think just the crib would be better.
I think a mini crib in your room is sort of the same idea as a bassinet/moses basket. We used a bassinet in our room for the first few weeks with each of our daughters and then transitioned them to their own room / crib w/ no problems (we transitioned them each around 6 weeks to their own room/crib).
We have the bugaboo cameleon and used the bassinet feature as their 'bed' when we vacationed with them within their first few months. We never used the bassinet as their bed while at home though I don't see why you couldn't although I don't know if the 'mattress; in the bugaboo is as nice as our bassinet mattress. I just used our bassinet sheets in the bugaboo when we vacationed, they may have not been the exact same size but I could easily put the extra sheet under the 'mattress'.
ETA: I can't believe you're at 25 weeks! Congratulations!!
Both my kids slept in their cribs as soon as they came home from the hospital. It's no problem. I think a crib and using the stroller bassinet will give you plenty of options. I haven't used this before but we got the fisher price rock and play based on many recommendations from the multiples boards - it's very small and folds up for storage so might be a good option if you find you need another place to put the baby down.
we put DD in her crib since day 1. we had a bassinet and we never used it. she was in her crib in her room which is what we preferred.
I think your LO will be just fine in a crib. One thing we did use and LOVE was a sleep positioner which held her in place.
