Abdominal pain, no AF yet... please help

I haven't gotten AF yet, am still BFing, but I did recently stop pumping and stopped taking domperidone... just still nursing when DS and I are together.

For the past few days I have been having some pretty crazy cramps in my lower abdomen, along with bloating from time to time. I honestly keep checking to see if AF has started, but nothing so far. Is this my body trying to get ready to start AF again? Or could it be something else? Or... should I POAS?

Anyone else experience something like this before AF came back? I'm starting to think I should call my doctor....

    It sounds like AF. My first one after baby was pretty uneventful but the couple after that were very uncomfortable before it finally came. Before LO my periods were symptom free and now I have cramps and cravings, etc. for like 5 days before. Since it's only been a few days I wouldn't call your doctor yet unless they are really painful. Have you taken ibuprofen or anything? If you think you may be pregnant it couldn't hurt to POAS, but honesly it sounds like AF.

    POAS in the morning--if it's negative, I'd assume AF is coming :-)
