Babies: 3 - 6 Months

I got a problem with this.

Do these people honestly think as parents we enjoy when our child cries?  If my husband and I are out we pick her up and walk outside and calm her down.  I do recognize that some parents aren't as curtious, but my knee jerk reaction to this article is to say then are there stores that offer a time when people who don't have children can't shop?  Because if you are going to have time for no children, then I want time without people whom think they're better than me for not having a child.

  • Though it might be an inconvenience for some, but I don't have a problem with it.  The last thing I want when I am out without my child is to hear someone else's child screaming or misbehaving.  People can't control their kids anymore (or just aren't in tune to what they need) so now businesses are taking steps to ensure the comfort of the majority of their patrons.  Maybe since people have to stop taking their kids places they will teach them how to behave in public.  It's about time!

  • I think if they are having kid free zones then they should provide baby sitting services onsite, for free.  Sorry, but sometimes you can't afford a baby sitter but don't want to be cooped up in the house for the rest of your life.  If someone else is willing to watch my kid for free so I can enjoy a movie or a nice dinner, then this would be a little more feasible in my opinion.

  • sorry but if you want a nice dinner and a movie then its called a babysitter. Now I haven;t read the article, but I don't think its right to ban someone for a place just because they have a child, I do agree that if someone doesn't want you in a place then why would you want to give them your business. Go somewhere that will appreciate you as a client.

  • First- it is  "I HAVE a problem with this." not I got a problem.

Second- I totally agree with this concept. I love my baby more than life itself, but there are times when I want to go out for some grown up time. During this grown up time, I do not want to hear other peoples children screaming. If you do not like it, or cannot get a babysitter, then go somewhere else. There are plenty of establishments that cater to children and would love to have you and your baby there.

I'm going to go off on you. Fair warning.

It's idiotic crap like this that makes people want to ban children. You want to see an entitled attitude? Read the quoted post. If you ban kids, you have to provide free daycare? FRO you entitled brat. Not every restaurant is going to do this ban. If they don't want your kids there, why the hell do you insist on going there so badly? To make a point? The only point you will be making is that you are a self centered biitch and that everyone should love being around your child. Guess what- no one else has to put up with your child. You knew what you signed up for when you got pregnant. They are not our problem. That is YOUR problem. If you can't afford a sitter- STAY HOME. Or better yet- patronize child friendly restaurants. They will be happy to have your business.

Some people don't like to see girls in tight shirts and short shorts. Does that mean we should shut down all Hooters restaurants? No. If you don't like it- DON'T GO THERE. I don't like jazz music. Does that mean I should piss and moan so that establishments that cater to jazz enthusiasts change the entire environment they have created to make me happy when I go there? No. I am not a self centered twat unlike some people and just won't go there. I will go somewhere that has an environment that I want to be in. That is all they are creating- a child free environment that is guaranteed to be free from breakdowns (and don't kid yourself- even the most well behaved child has their bad moments and you never know when they will occur).

Not that hard people. Get the fvck over yourselves. Everyone doesn't have to bend over backward to make you happy.

    Amen
