I see that the Facebook page has been reactivated- hooray! Before I read ncbelle's message about adjusting group settings, however, I logged into my email and saw almost a whole page of IRL bumpies' names in there (connected to each post they had made today). Kind of funny...

Anyway, nice to see the page is active again.

hmm I tried a few variations on my phone in FB and didn't come up with anything. I also googled AP Bumpies Facebook and it of course brought up this thread. Either I'm brain fried and missing something obvious or the page is under another name.

I think the page was set to private and you need to be invited.

HarpersMom - i just tried to add you to the FB group but i can only add people from my own friends group on FB. plus even then, you have to have admin approval before you would be accepted into the group.

When i joined a while ago, it was thru a comment in ncbelle's siggy where she said to PM her for an invite. ohhh looks like according to FB, ncbelle and WebMistress are the two admins - so probably PM or page one of them to get you an invite!

and it's basically been inactive since around February so you haven't missed anything lately anyway!

Yep - I hadn't adjusted the settings either, and had like 100 messages!!

I'm glad to see it's back too - but I'll still be hanging out here during work hours, since we have FB blocked at work.

Yeah, Facebook doesn't tell you when someone's at the "friend limit," so I have 172 people waiting to be my "friend." About once a week or so, I send out an email telling people to friend me on my author page instead since my personal page is full.

The funny ones are the messages where people ask, "Are you the writer Shaindel Beers?" How many Shaindel Beerses do they think there are? The funny thing is up to two years ago, I was also "the farm laborer Shaindel Beers" building fences and harvesting fruit for extra money on Sundays. And "the fitness instructor Shaindel Beers" on Saturdays. Ah, well...

I'll have to see the writer friends we have in common. So cool!
