I know that I posted a long time ago about Trig seeing a pediatric endocrinologist about being put on growth hormone. They wanted to see him back in 4 months to see if he would do any significant growth. Well, we went back last week and the doctor is recommending growth hormone! We are very excited that Trig has a shot at being a normal size when he grows up but it also means daily injections which is a little scary. Now we just wait for insurance approval (which will hopefully go smoothly) and he will start in a few weeks. Thanks for listening, it has been a crazy journey thusfar with Trig being so small and he will hopefully do some real catching up very soon!!!!

That is good news that they are doing it so early. Friends of the family had triplet girls, 2 of which were alwasy under in height and weight (seriously under). As teens they were on growth hormones, one grew 3 inches the other almost 5. It was amazing! While they will alwasy be short the diffrence between 5foot and 4' 8" is big. I know if they had been younger they would have grown more so hopefully this helps Trig a lot!
