Today I picked up my groceries using Meijer Express (you order online, pull up to the curb and they bring all the groceries out to your car). I have used this service many times and it seems that more often than not they neglect to give me everything I order (usually 1-3 items, nothing major because I usually have to go to the store anyway).
Anyway, today I waited in my car for 20 minutes before they loaded my car up and of course, I complained. I had both kids with me who were obviously not happy sitting in a car for 20 minutes going no where. The manager came out and told me I didnt have to pay because of the inconvenience. Awesome! So I get home and this time like 5 or 6 things are missing! Im really irriated but hesitate to call because they did cover my groceries. Would you call or wait until next time and see what happens?
Re: Would you complain?
This!! Did you get all your grocery items for free? Or was the fee waived?
Everything was free! I dont want to sound like I am ungrateful they covered it but it is definitely not the first time they forgot to give me stuff. And it's the second time they have given me cracked eggs too.
That's great they gave you the groceries for free!! I'd start to get really annoyed if things were missing every.single.time. On occasion wouldn't bother me, but all the time....
It really is awesome and only $6.95!!! To me it is well worth the $ because I actually find myself spending way less than when I go in the store and make impulse buys. Its also really nice to take your time and shop at your leisure online and find the best prices, etc. I think they also have like an unlimited use for a month fee of $25.
