Looking for an OB that can deliver at Northside hospital

We have new insurance through Northside Hospital, and I am looking for an OB that has privileges there. They don't have to be an employee of the hospital itself, but I would like an OB that can at least deliver there. My last OB was also a GP and could deal with cold, being sick, etc, so if you happen to have one of those, PLEASE rec them to me. I would love to pick an OB or GP with a recommendation rather than blindly from some insurance website.

    I see Dr. Grogran at Peachtree Women's Clinic (though I have actually seen a number of their midwives and docs) - I HIGHLY recommend her, though she is just an OB and not really a GP.  I actually went to her based on someone's recommendation.  They have offices right next to Northside Hospital, as well as a few other places around Atlanta.  They always have 2-3 people from their practice on call at the hospital.

    Dr. Graham at North Atlanta Womens Specialist.

    While he's not a GP, he has prescribed me meds for bronchitus.

    I got to Atlanta Women Specialists (some of the others on here do too). I like Dr. Angus, Dawson, and Jeffers. Dr. Johnson did both my c-sections and did a great job as well. She isn't as personable in the office in my opinion through. Most of the OBs I've heard about around here are just OBGYNs not GP

    This.  Dr. Dawson is FABULOUS.  Dr. Johnson did my c-section and I agree, great in the OR, not a terrific bedside manner.  Everyone else there is great though.  I also really like that they have a web "portal" that stores all of your medical info and you can email your doctors directly.  It's pretty awesome.

    I go to North Atlanta Women's Specialist and see Dr. Anand (she's on maternity leave though).  All doctors from the practice are great and they all deliver at Northside. Their Perimeter office is right next to the hospital.

    tritto!  3 c-sections by dr dawson, love him!  and even though I originally had beef with dr angus from my first baby (though I know others here who love him), he assisted with the third c-section (and tubal ligation) and all is forgiven now.  and dr jeffers rocks too, love her!  and the NP's are all super sweet (esp Rosa).  I'm a big fan, and a super big fan of the web portal where I can email questions!

    I agree I go to Atlanta Women's Specialists as well and find all of the docs to be great :)

    Same here. Love Dr. Dawson - definitely my fave. Dr. Johnson delivered Avery and did a great job, although I was not impressed by her in the normal office appt setting. Love the practice and the web portal is super convenient!
