Need some girl name ideas where the nickname could be Gray. My husband and I both agree on that nickname/name but I'm not really liking just Gray as a name. Any suggestions are super helpful.

As a future Grayson's mommy myself I would say not is not a girls name and if you want your child to be known by Gray just name her that...not a fan of nicknames either...
I have seen Gracen (same as Grayson), I should mention though that where I saw it was the name horrors thread. I would use Grey as a NN or name if you must on a boy, it is far from being feminine.

This, although I don't think Gray is a very feminine name, nor a very good name at all. Just my opinion. Good luck!
We called her Grey Grey and Grey Louise (her middle name, obviously)
It fit her really well and with a good middle name that you could combine with it I don't see any reason why you couldn't just use Gray/Grey. It stands alone just fine.
Just please don't use Grayson for a girl. It is a boy's name. The SON at the end to me = boy. It drives me crazy when names that end this way are used for girls. -Sorry for the rant, it just irks me.
I was going to say Grayson, but I'm not a fan of Grayson or Gray as a girl's name. I like the other suggestions of Grace and the nickname Gray if you really like it. I just keep thinking of the color though.

Grayson is a boy's name. In fact, it's my son's name. We call him Gray sometimes. If you want to call your daughter Gray, why not name her that? (I wouldn't, but to each her own.)

I think the only decent name so far is Grace, which doesn't really need a nn. Maybe a double first name? Like Grace Anne MN Lastname? Then it would seem more appropriate to me to have a nn. I'm not sure there's really a good answer here.
I grew up with a Grayson who was a girl so in my mind it is a girl's name, but it really is more traditionally used for boys.
If you want to give your daughter the nn Gray, I would suggest Grace or Graceanne, but I really do like the name Greer/Grier. I believe that is Brook Shield's youngest daughter's name. It's very pretty.
Or you could go with something different like Allegra or Margaret.
I think you could use almost any name that has a grrr sound

Re: Name Ideas w/Gray as nickname
The first thing that pops into my mind is Grayson.
I know a Greer, and he's always gone by Gray. Maybe Greggory or Greger ?
Edit: Totally missed where you needed girl suggestions! I just can't give you any.....sorry.
Could Grayson be a girl's name?
Ditto on Grayson/Greyson.
Also Grace, Graham, Grant, or Gretchen IMO (I didn't notice if you specified boy or girl...)
Err... I'm not one to answer that question! The name in general is NMS, so as a girl's name, it's really NMS! Sorry!
IMO, it really shouldn't be.
What about Grace and if you want to call her Gray - go ahead?
That's not pronounced how I think you think it's pronounced.

I think Greer is cute for a girl.. not so much Grayson, though.
I like the spelling Grey better than Gray, but would people associate Grey w Grey's Anatomy? Maybe not a good idea then...
For a girl? Grace?
My cousin in law is named Gray. 50 year old man. Sorry.

FWIW, two female classmates of mine from gradschool had the MIDDLE name Gray, which I thought was very pretty.
I taught a little girl named Grey.

First off, why name your daughter such a drab color??? *sad face*
Okay, here are some ideas, Grace, Gracie, Gracenna, Graysen....I prefer the spelling with Grey instead of Gray...
