What store to buy shoes...

Ok, I live near a pretty large outlet mall and they have just about any store that you could imagine. They do have a StrideRite outlet, but I looked at the shoes there yesterday and didn't find any that I just absolutely loved. In which stores do you typically have the best luck finding shoes for your LO?

I love our StrideRite outlet and usually find a few there. But when that fails I've actually had luck at Target of all places! Also my mom has bought DD shoes at Nordstrom's an they were really nice Keen shoes.

We have the best luck at regular (non-outlet) Stride Rite stores. DS has really wide feet. In the past, I've bought shoes at Target and BRU as well.

I did manage to find one pair at yesterday, at StrideRite, that I liked, but DH wasn't with me and he typically has an opinion on DD's main pair of tennis shoes, lol, so I didn't want to buy them without him being with us. We're going to look at a few other stores today, but I may go back and get those if we don't find ones that I like better.

We bought liam's water shoes at stride rite. We buy most of his shoes on eBay. We got his keens for $20 there. Kids only wear them for a few months.

My fav place for shoe shopping is actually Amazon. They have 100 x's the selection of any store, and I get free 2 day shipping on most things, so there is no added cost as far as ordering online! As far as actual stores go, I have found Stride Rite and Journey's Kids to have a fairly nice variety too. We don't have a Nordstrom in the area, but the last time I visited the kids shoe section of one, I was drooling at their selection.
