Daycare recommendations in Albany

Excuse my very outdated signature/tickers - it's been a long time since I was on these boards!

I have a 2.5-year-old and a six-month-old and am relocating from Syracuse to Albany in about a month. Right now my toddler is in a great full-time daycare, and before we knew we were moving, the plan was to enroll the baby at the end of August. She's only ever been home with me. I have been working from home since she was born.

For a number of reasons I'm probably going to be looking for a part-time arrangement, at least for the first few months after the move. We'll be in Clifton Park, and I've found that a few centers in that area do offer part-time schedules.

If you or anyone you know has a personal experience with an Albany-area daycare that you'd like to share, please do. We'll check places out personally before enrolling the kids, of course, but if we can get a push in the right direction it will be a huge help.

TIA.

DS goes to North Country Academy in Clifton Park, and we really like it there. Feel free to PM me with any questions you have.

And good luck on the move!
  • Thank you, that's great to know! I may take you up on the PM offer. I found North County in my web searching and liked what I saw. They're on my list to call!
