i see an MFM - i wasn't pleased with how my OB was going to treat my twins pregnancy, so i switched around 10 weeks. most MFMs don't deliver, but luckily mine does.
i go every 4 weeks until i hit 35 weeks, then i will start going weekly. from what i see on the board, this is a different schedule than most doctors keep with their twins pregnancies, but i trust my doctor so i don't mind
ETA: once i hit 20-ish weeks, i started to have growth scans (ultrasounds) before every appt with my doctor. everything has been normal, which is why i'm guessing he only needs to see me every 4 weeks. if something was abnormal, i'm guessing i would see him more frequently.

I saw my OB (so far) at 10 weeks for my first visit, 12 weeks for NT scan, 16 weeks for quad scan, and back at 20 weeks.
I did see the MFM at 18 weeks for my anatomy scan. I will be going back to them at 23 weeks for a fetal echo.
I plan to ask at my 20 week appointment how often they'll want to see me to do growth scans (which can be about every 2 weeks from what I was told early on by one of the Dr.'s in the practice).

I go every four weeks (OB + u/s), then every 2 after 20, and weekly sometime later in the 3rd tri. My OB is a high risk specialist and the practice (8 OBs) also have a MFM that reviews my file, so I don't have a 2nd Dr. at this point. I also went to a geneticist at 10 for b/w and 12 for the NT scan.

With my OB, I've been going every 2 weeks (with an ultrasound at every appt). I also saw the MFM at 9 weeks (to monitor SCHs), and will again for the NT scan next week.
Once I'm into 2nd tri, I think at some point I will be going to the MFM every week for an ultrasound. I'm anti-RO/SSA, and there is a small chance that it can cause heart issues in the babies, so they will monitor me more closely. I don't know how often my OB will want me to come in at that point.
Right now I'm seeing my OB every 4 weeks and my MFM/Peri every 4 weeks but they alternate so I have an appointment every 2 weeks.
Me 32 DH 38
Married October 2008- TTC Right Away!

3 IUI's in 09-10 all BFN
July 2010 IVF #1- four eggs retrieved 2 mature only made it to 4 cells-none to transfer.

April 10th- retrieval of 10 eggs/7mature
April 15th- 5dt of 2 blasts
April 25th- 10dp5dt Beta #1- 662
April 27th- 12dp5dt Beta #2- 1576
2 Girls! Due January 1, 2012.
Started with the MFM for the NT screen and then every 4 weeks for cervical length and growth scan. It periodically switched from 4 weeks to 2 weeks then back to every 3 weeks depending on my symptoms. I started having BH at 16 weeks and then a lot of pressure in the 20s because I am a teacher and stood a lot.
The OB has seen me every 4 weeks until 32 weeks and now I see them every 2 weeks. I assume that will also change soon.
