How much sleep is a 10 week old supposed to get during the day?
My LO sleeps from about 9/10pm till 7am with one feeding around 3am... but his daytime sleep is so unpredictable. How much does your LO sleep during the day?
She is up for the morning around 6am, and goes back to bed at night around 8pm. In between those times, she will have two long naps (2+ hours) and a few catnaps (<30 minutes).
ETA: The above schedule is only true when we are home all day. When we are out and about, she tends to skip her long naps and just do more catnaps. DD will only sleep deeply when she is in her swaddle enjoying some white noise, lol.
I'm wondering this too. Mine is 11 weeks and she goes to bed around 9, wakes up at 3 am to eat and then will sleep until 7-9ish. During the say she still only wants to be awake for around an hour-hour and a half until she wants to nap again. Usually a long one in the morning (2 hours or so) then a couple of 30-40 minute ones and then another long in the evening. I feel like she is sleeping A LOT.
I'm glad I am not the only one! I worry she sleeps too much during the day. LO goes to bed around 10 ish wakes up to feed usually around 2/3am ish and then 7am and sleeps til 9/10am. she'll be away for an hour or two then cat nap. She will feed and then take a looong nap from 11/12 til 4/5pm and cat nap in the evening. I feel like this is too much sleeping sometimes!

LO sleeps from 9:00pm-4:30am. Then back to sleep until about 7:30am. During that time I try to put him down watching his cues in between each bottle. If eats every 3 hours so in between each bottle he'll go down it could be a anywhere from 30-1 hr etc.

LO sleeps a lot, it seems. She started STTN last week (9-10pm to 6-7am) and is up for about 2 hours before napping another 1-2 hours. Repeat 4-5 times a day.
I've read that it's still very normal for them to nap after about 2 hours of awake time. Those naps can be long or short. I know August follows that schedule most days, and I've also felt like he sleeps a lot more than I remember from DD.
