Needs help figuring due date when ovulate late in cycle

I need help on figuring my due date because I believe that I did not ovulate until late into my cycle. When I enter the first day of my last period, 6/20, my due date is 3/26. When I entered in the date based off of positive OPK, 7/10, it shows my due date is 4/1. I do not have a dr appointment for a few more weeks and I just want to know how far along I am even thought it is just a week different. What would you go by?

Your doctor is going to go by your LMP date until you get in to have it clarified. For now though, if you want your ticker to be more accurate, go by your ovulation based due date.

I agree, the dr will base it off of your LMP until they are able to measure something. I took the due date they gave me of 2/20, but I was pretty sure it would be later because I ovulated later as well. When they measured the baby, I measured a little earlier than they thought, but it wasn't enough to change the due date on their records. I am just going by what the dr suggests, since you rarely give birth on your due date anyway...

As PP mentioned, the doctor will go off of LMP date. He will adjust it as necessary according to an u/s. Sometimes though they don't even adjust your EDD even if the u/s is different unless it is a big discrepancy.

It depends on your doctor. I am in the same situation with you with ovulating late in my cycle. When I did my EDD based on LMP it gave me Feb 8th but with my O date it gave me Feb 14th. So the first appt I had with my Dr when she asked my LMP I told her but also shared that I was temping/using OPKs. She determined my due date based on my O date and said she would keep it at that till we were able to determine size at the 18-20 week u/s.

My cycles tend to be all over the place and looooong. The cycle i got pg with my daughter was something like 120 days. I let my OB know and he recommended a dating u/s.

I am in the same boat. LMP has me due 3/20 and O day has me due 3/28.

I have both tickers at the bottom now b/c OB says they will go with LMP date unless the dating u/s is more than 2 weeks off... Soooooo. Looks like they are going to call me 6w1d, with a due date of 3/20 even tho I am likely, technically 5w0d.
