IVF in Tampa or Orlando

This is probably a long shot, but figured I'd ask anyway.  Has anyone on this board done IVF in either Tampa or Orlando and liked their RE?  My husband and I were diagnosed with azoo, subsequent SA found "enough to do ICSI/IVF". 

Our RE has been getting progressively worse at returning phone calls (we gave a sperm sample to freeze 5 days ago, and despite my calling multiple times no one has returned my call to let me know if they had anything to freeze) and it makes both DH and I uncomfortable that they will not be thorough and communicative as we progress.

If anyone has any recommendations, it would be greatly appreciated.  We live in Tampa, but I'm willing to drive a distance if that's what it takes to find a doctor who communicates with us.

    I've seen RE's in both Tampa and Orlando.  Not sure who you are seeing in Tampa, but we started with Reproductive Medicine Group, and after almost a year weren't quite satisfied so we got a second opinion with Dr. Mayer at USF who we absolutely loved.  We saw him every appt and he took as much time as we needed to answer our questions and make us feel comfortable.  Plus he really listened to my concerns, and worked with my insurance to code things in a way that they would be covered.

    We moved to Orlando before we did our 2nd IVF, so we didn't cycle with Dr. Mayer.  In Orlando, we saw Dr. Loy with CRM.  He is a great doctor, and we were successful with our IVF, but if I lived in Tampa I would see Dr. Mayer before I drove to Orlando to cycle.

    Thanks for the recommendation on Dr. Mayer.  Did you have any difficulties transferring your records from RMG to Dr. Mayer?

    None at all.  They have to give you one copy of your records at no charge, so you just request them from RMG.  I made a copy for myself to keep and brought the other to Dr. Mayer.

    I can highly recommend Center for Reproductive Medicine...Dr. Gary DeVane in Orlando.  The entire staff was amazing from start to finish and I can not say one bad thing about them.  They are miracle workers.  Best of luck with whomever you choose.
