Hi ladies! Sorry I didn't post yesterday. It all happened so fast but Riley Savannah is here! At my appointment the doc told us i hadn't dilated anymore despite all the contrax I was having all week. We talked about an induction and he said it would have to be yesterday or next monday. I asked his opinion and he said with her head so low and my cervix so soft it wouldn't take much. So DH and I talked and even though it wasnt quite how I wanted it it made sense. It made it easier on Gavin and the timing is perfect w/ DHs time off and when my mom comes next week. So we went home, had lunch, got everything in the car and dropped G off. We were on pitocin by 230. At 530 I was 3cm and the dr broke my water. At 730 I was still 3 and a little discouraged. Around 830 or 9 I got some IV pain meds and felt the urge to push around 915. The nurse checked me and I was at 8 but by 930 I was complete. The doctor arrived from home by 940, I pushed (without an epi) once and he said I was crowning and on the next contraction she was out! Born at 949pm weighing 7lbs 15oz, 19 inches. I didn't tear or need an episiotomy so I'm already feeling pretty good. She is nursing great and so far everything looks good. I'm posting on my phone so excuse any mistakes.
