Have you heard of Novasure?

 It is a procedure for reducing heavy bleeding, but it is for when you are done childbearing, you lose your fertility as well.

I wonder how well it works, if it is better than getting your tubes tied.. I've never heard of this procedure before.  And according to the website it could be the cost of a copay.

    i do know someone who had an ablation done..but i was under the impression it was for a more serious reason than just having a heavy period. something like fibroids or endometriosis or something like that. . and i'm pretty sure she said it was very painful.

    The website says it is not painful - altho requires anesthesia - but no pain after and no recovery time.
