birthday party place RAVE.

We had K's 3rd birthday party today at Pump It Up. 

OMG, it was FABULOUS. The kids had a great time, my nephew even deemed it "the best birthday party EVER!", the adults had fun too...and I had to do NOTHING.

Seriously. They took care of everything. The woman who was in charge of our party even helped K open her presents AND wrote down what she got from who. They did all the set up and all the clean up.

So worth every penny. We did it on a weeknight to save costs, and had gotten a special deal earlier this spring. It would have still been worth it at full price, easily. I didn't have to clean my house twice at almost 36 weeks pregnant, and I could visit without neglecting hostess duties.

 

I never want to host a party at home again. (but I know we will)

    We had my stepson's birthday at pump it up 3 years ago. I was due 2 weeks before his birthday so we knew an at home party was not happening with a newborn. As the days ticked past my due date closer to his birthday, I grew more and more grateful. DD was born 3 days before his actual birthday ended up in the NICU for a week and only came home a couple days before his party, which we'd purposely planned for a week after his actual bday. It was so awesome to just be able to enjoy the party!
