Update: Gabby's first day of 1st grade

I was so worried about her all day long.  Even driving past the school during recess to see if I can catch a glimpse of her.  (stalker status, right??)  When I picked her up, she was all smiles and swears she had the best day and loves her teacher.  I was so relieved.  I know her teacher, and she's the sweetest person in the world.  I knew she would be a good match for Gabby.  I'm so glad she got over it.  And everyone was right, teacher said 10 minutes after I left she was fine, but the teacher let her keep a special stuffed turtle at her desk in case she got lonely.  And she gave her extra attention on her coloring in the lines.  Phew!!  I feel so much more relaxed.  Thanks so much for the pep talks and advice. Let's hope tomorrow goes much better.  I'm hoping just to drop off and take off.
