Before LO arrived I swore up and down I would be exercising and working out, eating right, blah blah blah. For the most part I have like 10 more lbs to loose...not too bad considering my daughter was almsot 10 lbs at birth. But lately I feel SO lazy, all I do is stay in the house, and I am not even caring what I am eating. This morning I had a coffee and 2 donuts from DD! Yes 2 fattening donuts!!!!!!! I feel so GROSS!!!!!!!!!! My LO is getting baptized next month, and we have so many weddings coming up....still I am NOT motivated!
Anyone else??
Re: Feeling so lazy lately
I hear ya! Although I don't have any weight to lose from baby, somehow I miraculously lost it all without doing much. I also swore that I would get off my butt, go for lots of walks (can't now in this damn heat), get the wii fit out, etc, but I totally haven't. The most exercise I get is carrying around DS, running errands a few times a week, and bringing him back and forth to change him.
Maybe I'll get motivated soon, but for now I just can't seem to muster the energy. Your morning donuts sound really good... much better than my evening chips haha.
It took me this she was 13/14 weeks before I really got my butt in gear. I still admit most days I don't get dressed (to damn hot to go anywhere but the gym, and then I just come home, shower, and put by PJ's back on!) But I have lost almost 7 lbs in two weeks, so i am going to keep the gym up!
Still, I try to do more around the house since LO is better at sitting and watching me or playing alone.
Since LO is here I am actually a lot more active than before. I go out and walk around with her every day.As for the gym part: I?ve always been pretty lazy and avoiding any kind of sports and I dont think it?ll change.
I only have about 4 lbs left and then I am back to pre pregnancy weight but I still cant fit into my old jeans. Seems like my hips have gotten much bigger. ANyone having the same issue and is there anything I could do?
I hate you, lol. I'm to embarrassed to say how much left I have.
I also wear PJ's all day since I don't go anywhere most days. I used to take walks but it's just too hot unless I want to get out and about at 6am (no thanks!). I have been eating better and do little work outs here and there, but nothing too aggressive.
My hips are a LOT bigger than they were pre-pregnancy and the only thing I can say is to exercise and wait it out. When I had my DD 3 years ago it took my hips almost 6 months to go back down to normal size. My hips are shrinking slowly but surely, it just takes time.
Sorry haha. I by no means have my old body back, I still have more pooch than normal but that will take hard work to get rid of. I would like to lose another 10lbs to be back to my 'ideal' weight but we'll see what happens. Mind you, if DS keeps gaining weight like he is, there is a good possibility of losing the weight just by carrying him around - he's 14lbs last Friday at 11weeks! I will have Such toned arms by the time he's a toddler lol
