Everyone keeps telling me they think I'll go early which has me all paranoid (even though people have no basis for saying WHY I'll go early, but whatever). I also have a lot of stuff to do in August and I'm afraid time is going to get away from me and I'll be throwing crap together last minute.
Plus, I figure if I start early, it will give me time to rethink things and remember to toss in things that I forgot.

Around 33 weeks, I started a pile in my closet of things I already had that needed to go...
35 weeks picked up all my toiletries in travel size or travel size containers to fill and out them together...
37 weeks bags are packed and ready, list of what needs to go in is on top (glasses, makeup, etc.).
I have two bags--one for stuff I want during labor, the other stuff I need after. I'll leave the second one in the car & DH can go fetch it while I name the baby. BWUAHAHAHA!

You crack me up Kathy.
I have a pile of things that need to be packed in a bag, I'm almost done. I'm almost positive I will go late, so I'm not stressing too much about it.
I made a list last week, but haven't started packing. There is a good list on the Sept 2011 BMB that I just saw from earlier today too if anyone needs one. I think I should start packing soon, like maybe tonight. I'm 34 weeks today and average for twins is only 35-36 weeks. DH will kill me if has to make a million trips from the hospital to bring everything I forget if I'm not packed in time!

I am using my small wheeled suitcase which I take as a carry on when I fly.
I think someone said on my BMB that a wheeled suitcase was easier as you were leaving because you'll have so much other stuff to carry, it's easy just to tow it behind you.
I have a list of stuff I'm packing for the hospital, but I just sort of made my own after looking through posts on my BMB and asking friends.

With DS I packed mine after my water broke, at 37w6d (insert embarrassed face now that I can't figure out how to do on my mac). Clearly, I'm way, way early here for this pregnancy but I'm thinking next time I will do so around 36 weeks.

I'll be packing mine around 30 weeks. My family almost always has early babies, and with Quinn measuring consistently ahead I want to be prepared. I'll keep a list of last minute things to grab when the time comes.

Hysteroscopy with Dr. Isaacson (an expert in the USA) 6.2.14: Good prognosis, at least 50% of cavity open.
Repeat hysteroscopy scheduled with Dr. I on 6.16.14. Great progress. Unbenched!!!!
Discussing actively TTC with DH after the heartache of the last year. We're both reeling.
Hopefully before we head to the hospital. We keep putting it off. I think my love of procrastination is only helped my my ability to pack insanely fast (and knowledge that I can do that) as well as the close proximity of the hospital and DH's ability to come home to get things.

I am going to start packing mine very soon. I feel like I might go early, but waiting to get majority of items from my baby shower. I will be 32 wks at my shower.
We have a list of stuff we want to bring, but I probably won't put anything in an actual bag until we're leaving for the hospital. Most of what's on the list I use every day, or at least frequently enough that it'd be a pain to pack and unpack it all the time. Plus, I feel like if I pack a bag I'm jinxing myself and won't go into labor for another 4 weeks :-P
I was planning on being packed by 35/36wks... our LO came at 33w5d.. so I suggest you pack early! It wasn't a big deal though, DH was able to grab some things for us

I SHOULD have mine packed already.....I was 34 weeks with DS when I was first admitted to the hospital with high blood pressure. So I need to get on the ball about packing that bag! I honestly can't remember what I packed last time, or what I needed, so now I'm avoiding the task instead of tackling it head on!
I also need to assembly the baby's bed (he'll be in an Amby crib when he first comes home). Guess I better get working. I wish nesting started sooner!
