Paraguard contraceptive.

Para is the Afrikaans word for twat. I burst out laughing at the dr's office when I saw that there is a contraceptive called paraguard.
So here in Namibia it literally means Twat guard.

Hmmm. Maybe twats need protection too?
What is the paraguard's US equivalent? Is it a prescription/pill? Or an actual physical device like an IUD, etc.? (just curious)
