Bomb Ladies

So i went out of town this weekend, and everyone i saw said i was looking good. But i havent lost more than 10lbs, so i know its kinda BS. I allways say " Aw thanks! i havent lost all i want but im working on it" and i usually get a funny face. I guess people are taking it like i am telling them they are full of it?

should i just say thanks and shutthefup and accept whats supposed to be a compliment?

Re: Bomb Ladies

  • I say you should accept the kind words with a simple thank you, or thanks I've been working really hard. And pounds lost don't necessarily have much to do with how you have changed - I lost. "Only" 15 pounds but over 61 inches which made a huge difference. Are you doing measurements in addition to using the scale?

  • I also say to just accept the kind words and compliments with a Thank You.  You might not be seeing it in pounds but it might be showing in inches  -- therefore people are noticing it more than you might.

glad you had people noticing and complimenting!

  • i really havent thought to mesure, and maybe thats where the change is. I hope i didnt seem rude, i really do appreciate the complitments, but i am pretty harsh on myself so its hard to see and be objective.

im allso really getting nervous about my 10 year reunion. like all of a sudden i am freaking out, and almost wanting to back out. But i've already bought the tickets!
