Those of you with little girls, are you getting their ears pierced? When are you going to do it? I wanna get my DD's ears pierced before she's old enough to remember, but I'm not sure when the magic age is. My SIL did it to both my nieces when they were like 3-4 months. I don't know if I'm ready now. Does it matter if I do it now, or when they are like 5-6 months? Any suggestions would be helpful... thanks.

Re: Ears pierced?
Her Pedi's office does it so I don't have to worry about location.
My brother waited til his girls got older (5 & 6 yrs) and when they were there they both completely freaked out and someone touching their ears.
Disclaimer: The oldest one is a drama queen and it can be contagious sometimes.
We just got Lo ears done this past week. She is 4 months. She cried when she got them done but I gave her a bottle right away and she stopped. She hasn't been fussy since and she has not even touched her ears yet.
like a PP said i'm against getting Addy's ears pierced until she can ask for it and take care of them herself but the bf wants them done like now. i stated my piece and will let him make the final decision.
we talked to the pedi about it. he does it in his office and she's had her 4 month shots so he said any place would be fine to get them done but he recommended waiting till about 6 months when their ears were a little bigger and you could really get an idea of the placement of the holes. he also said it would hurt for a minute but no more than the shots that she gets done in his office and she wouldn't remember anyway.
hope that helps you some! good luck
