Our good friends will be starting testing in the next few weeks. I have been sitting here for the last hour with an email draft to her trying to find the right words. They were there for DH & I every step of the way and know what we went through, she has seen my evil dark side. I was in the bottom of the barrel mindset wise when our FET was a success and I think I still cary that pain & bitterness. I don't want to scare them with the what could be, I really want to sound upbeat and positive without being that annoying "just relax" person.
This is what I have...is it too short? Should I add more? Ugh why am I so shitty at this when I have been there. Note, this is at the end of a longer email thanking them for a great weekend away together that we just had.
Re: Friend new to IF, looking for the right words.
Sometimes its better to be short & sweet than say something in a long dragged out paragraph. Im sure she knows what you have been through & will reach to you if she needs too.
This
Even something as simple as "I am here if you need me."
"When the world says, 'Give up,' Hope whispers, 'Try one more time.'" -Anonymous
I think your paragraph is perfect.
She will reach out to you when she has questions. She will know that you, of all people, won't say stupid things, and she will know that you have compassion and understanding.
The fact that you're overthinking it says a lot!

I think the short-and-sweet approach is best. I think it just shows her that you care and that you understand. GL to her!
