Love both names! I have an "Olivia", but I spell it Olyvia. It's a very popular name. She's 10, and I believe there are four Olivia's total (including her) that she knows of at her school. Of course she always says, "But they spell theirs the wrong way!" lol

Avery is also in the pool for my current LO. Smile

I chose Olivia. I love that name and I knew a guy named Avery a few years ago so I never thought of it as a girl's name.

I love both names, and I almost clicked Avery but since I am a HUGE greys anatomy fan and one of the hottest guys name is Avery I always associate the name with him LOL

Avery is a boy's name and I really dislike giving boy's names to girls. So many amazing boy names have been completely taken over and I don't understand why the mothers of girlsd can't use girl names when there are so many good ones. So, Avery is just out IMO, it's always better to find a girl's name for your little girl. Obviously,. I voted for Olivia.

Apart form my personal problem with boy's names for girls, I happen to LOVE the name Olivia so that was really an easy choice. Olivia would have been one of my top choices had our first son been a girl. The one and only thing that knocked it out of the running was how popular it has become. That would have been a dealbreaker for us but, I still love the name.
