  I went to school with a Patrick nn Packy.  He was a little weird, though, so I'm not a huge fan

  My husband's name is Patrick and I always call him Patty....it pisses him off! Haha! He hates when people call him Pat or Rick.

  I know a Patrick that goes by Patrick. If you don't want him to have a nn, just keep calling him Patrick and people will (hopefully) follow your lead.

  Most Patrick's that I know go by just Patrick. I do know a PJ.

  ....OR NOT.
  Pregnant 12/2018 despite birth control pills
  Here we go again...

  DH is a Patrick.  He was Pat or Patty (or Pancake??) growing up. In college, he just started introducing himself as Patrick so that's what I've always called him (that's when I met him).  Anyone who knows him college or beyond calls him Patrick except for his fellow police officers. They all call him Pat.

  I have a friend who NN their little boy "Patch".  I think it's adorable.  But maybe wouldn't grow well.

  My brother's name is Patrick. He goes by Pat or Patrick for the most part.

  When he was little, his nn was Tricka, which I think is adorable if you're under the age of five. There was also a period in high school that he would only answer to Rick. We still give him a hard time about that.
