Sleeping Sitting Up?!

I've always put DS down to bed awake and he falls asleep on his own.  Tonight was no different.  I fed him, changed and and put him in his crib around 9:30pm.  When he started crawling, he also figured out how to transition from sitting to crawling (and vice versa).  So before I left the room, he was already sitting.  About 20 minutes later I went in to check on him to find him in the exact same spot...but he was falling asleep and about to tip over!

Anyone else have a LO that started sleeping sitting up?  Evidently he did at my mom's today too!

    No sleep sitting here but he tries to sit up as he's falling asleep (he's learning get into the sitting position) so he wakes himself up.  He does this while nursing, while falling asleep, basically anytime that is inconvenient and then he gets ticked off that he's sitting.  He's confused. Stick out tongue

    Yes!  He also wants to take his bottle while sitting up which is very difficult!  He's just so nosey and wants to be able to see everything going on.

    I've seen Jackson sit up and pull himself up to standing at the crib railing before waking up.  It's so weird!! 
    I used to be a big deal.  Now I'm just old.

    That sounds cute! (I know, probably not cute when you just want them to go to sleep!)

    DS falls asleep sitting on the couch, but not sitting straight up in his crib...yet!
