focuses on Preemies. If you've read it, what are your thoughts?
Knowing me you'll expect this reaction from the Editorial Letter ![]()
Really? You got the perfect latch & BF'ing was smooth sailing right from the time your baby got off the feed tubes...really? But you know that's still a bitter spot with me ![]()

Re: This month's issue of Babytalk
What's kind of funny (in our case) is that DS latched perfectly while the LC was starting to teach us what to do. We had an LOL moment, but then the next three months, three weeks, and one day were a EP to EBF nightmare. Nipple confusion, crying from stress, exhaustion, etc, etc. I remember a nurse explaining to me on day one that I may never BF...and that's just how it was. You can't be there all the time and yeah PP if you can't hold your baby, how can you BF? and any mom who opted for formula because they were stressed out, well, that's totally understandable.
So yeah, I can see it being an all right primer for pg women, though if they were anything like me they'd skim the article and think, 'well, I'm not having a preemie...'
Oh, and the part about how you should kiss your nurses' tooshies so you can get a cradle by the window was a nice touch, I thought.
