Pain on right side of belly button?

For the past few days I have had a pain on the right side of my belly button.  It seems to be pretty close to the surface - like within the muscles or something.  It is worse with inhaling deep (when I stretch out my abdominal muscles) or when contracting my abdominal muscles.  Is it just things stretching?  A hernia?? (I don't see a bump or anything there).  Anyone else feeling this??

    I have been feeling something similar both to the side, and actually under my belly button. I figured it was probably just stretching out since I think LO is going through a growth spurt right now, but I can't say for sure.

    My belly button hurts too!  Its almost like the muscles right under it are sore or something.  If I cough I feel it and I'm now obsessed with poking at it!

    I have the exact same thing too! Mine is to the left of my belly button. Its tender to touch. I just oil my belly up and it feels a lot better. Lots of streching going on I guess.

    i was sent to L&D yesterday for this!  they monitored the baby for an hour, said everything is a-ok and then told me its probably a gastro-intestinal thing....try spending some time on the toilet and see if that works. good luck!!
