j-pouch

Anyone here have a j-pouch (you know if you do)? My RE suspects our TTTC is related to abdominal scarring/adhesions. I've decided to try IUI but can't help but wonder if I'm wasting time and should just go to IVF.

    I don't have a j-pouch, but I had a temporary ostomy for about a year and I am wondering if my issues are related to all the abdominal surgeries.  My right tube wasn't visible in my HSG a few days ago and I am waiting for the Radiologist report.  Sorry to hear you are facing these fears as well!

    Hi  there-

    I don't have one, but I'm also sorry to hear that this is complicating matters for you, it sucks that you have to deal with IF on top of everything else.

    I saw an article that almost 1/2 of women with j pouches have IF problems, which does make sense b/c of possible scarring & adhesions

     If HSG showed open tubes, then IUI might be worth a try! Tough decision, GL to you!
